HOPE STATION
OUR MISSION
HOPE Station is a Wellness and Recovery Center for individuals with behavioral and or mental health issues. The program offers daily snacks, groups, activities and workshops to promote the wellness and recovery efforts of those who utilize our services.
The Wellness and Recovery Centers are integrated behavioral health programs offering support groups, individual support, and informational and educational programs/events to individuals with mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders FREE OF CHARGE.
Cumberland, where HOPE Station is housed, is smaller than Hagerstown, the attendance averages between 10-20 people/day. The same types of groups/classes are offered depending on the annual needs assessment and satisfaction survey.
No appointment is necessary. All are Welcome.
HOPE STATION RESOURCES
HOPE Station staff can assist individuals by;
- Providing information and assistance with obtaining community resources and services
- Providing meals and snacks
- Offering daily activities and workshops
- Providing transportation to and from Center activities
- Providing peer-support, advocacy, and help with completing SSI/SSDI forms and other benefits and entitlements
- Equipment includes: Computers, Copier, Bikes, Craft, Ceramics and other social activities.
PEER-DIRECTED SUPPORT
Support and guidance provided to individuals in a self-directed process. HOPE Station staff will build on strengths, identify challenges and help to develop a plan of action. The staff will support all who wish to become better advocates for themselves and other family members.
HOPE Station is DRUG FREE and promotes wellness and recovery programs and works to help assist individuals with ways to cope with issues. Staff are peers.
WELLNESS & RECOVERY SERVICES
Support - Groups or one-on-one sessions to have participants and staff help each other
in alternative coping strategies through lived experiences.
Assistance - link up with other programs in the community
Information and Education - Community partners and peers sharing their knowledge in
an open, safe environment on a daily basis or as needed

Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Physical Disability, Substance Use Disorders
HOPE Station provides a network and programming to assist adults on the road to recovery and works to promote wellness in our vision of peer support and advocacy.
THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR ANY OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED.
